Welcome to St B’s Youth

St B’s Youth is a community of young people who meet together regularly to have fun and deepen in their faith in Jesus Christ. We have several different programs throughout the week which any teenager is welcome to join in with!

Thursday Nights

Thursday nights run from 6.30pm-8.30pm in the Church Hall for year 8-13. This is an energetic social night for our young people, with some awesome leadership development and serving opportunities. It involves snacks, (essential for youth ministry!), games (usually run by some youth), worship, a Bible/faith/God talk and small discussion groups.

Sundays

On Sunday mornings we attend St Barnabas church at 10am. Once a month we have breakfast together before the service, and occasionally have lunch together afterwards. We also have a Sunday youth program during the service for Intermediate age through to year 10. Our youth band lead the music for our church service roughly once per month. On Sunday evenings we run a senior youth Bible study at 7.00pm in The Flat (St Barnabas vicarage) which involves worship and a deep dive into Scripture together.

Throughout the Week

Throughout the week there are several random things that regularly pop up, such as youth band rehearsal and on-to-one mentoring.

The heart behind St B’s Youth is for young people to feel uplifted, welcomed, a sense of belonging, acceptance, and empowerment to be the light of Jesus and build the kingdom of God wherever He places them.

We are followers of Christ who use our words to build the kingdom of God together.
