Covid -19 Pandemic: Staying Connected

Hi to you all,

As you are all well aware, these are strange days… It’s hard to believe it was only a week ago that I was up at Lake Rotoiti at the Diocese Leadership Conference with a hundred others. How fast things have changed.

I hope this finds you all well, and that you have all you need for the lock down. As you might expect the lock down has thrown up a lot of new scenarios for us all.

David Cowdrey, our administrator and I have been setting up some new ways in which we will be able to communicate, as well as some old ones like the land line to stay in touch. I will be ringing everyone in the church phone book, so you can expect to hear from me at some point.

Yvonne McLean has set up a group that will be ringing our more senior members and keeping in touch weekly.

Margaret Hackston will keep me informed of any special needs that people might have.

I will try and post a couple of little sermons/bible studies on line when I get the children to show me how!

The Anglican web site www.nelsonanglican.nz/ has some links that you can check out as well.

There are many, many sermons, worship songs and studies on line you can use over this time.

If anyone has a need you can:

I’m praying that God will bless you and your family with a peace that can only come from the Lord in these difficult times

Yours in Christ
