At St Barnabas there are real, close friendships being built and experiences to be had as we engage in a wide range of activity based groups across all ages – so there should be something for everyone.

St Barnabas Walking Group

The St Barnabas Walking Group visit various locations around the region for scenic, historical and sometimes challenging walks.

Association of Anglican Women

Open to all women, this group unite in prayer and participate in the mission of the church to promote and nurture Christian family life.

Ladies Guild

This group meet once a month for fellowship with a focus on raising funds for the church by making and selling preserves, arts and crafts.


The St Barnabas youth group meets for activities and events. We are also involved in after school and holiday programmes for local youth, meets on various Fridays at 7.00pm.

Melody Makers

A weekly relaxed creative song and dance for pre-school children and their parents. Gold coin entry. Tuesdays 10-11:30am during term time.

Sunday Club and Crèche

During the 9.45am service on Sunday, children are cared for with range of fun activities while learning about God’s love.

Pastoral Care

Whenever there is a need, physical, emotional or spiritual, the Pastoral Care Team are there with God’s help to care, share and support.
