Good morning and a warm welcome to all. If you are visiting with us we would love to get to know you. Please feel free to stay for a hot drink after the service.

It is a privilege to have Rev Robin Kingston here today to share with us the vision of Bishopdale Theological College. As a graduate of this college I can personally commend to you the great work it is doing in helping people to read God’s word.

I would also like to introduce to you Joshua Richards who is new to St Barnabas this year:

Hi there. In case you don’t already know, my name is Josh Richards and I’m a youth worker/intern at this church this year. I come from Greymouth and moved up earlier on this year. I have been a part of the church my whole life and been involved in youth group since I was able. I was a part of the Shed Band (which was my youth group’s band). I am quite musical and also dramatic and enjoy seeing these things implemented in the church. I am looking forward to working in St Barnabas this year and see God’s spirit work. I’m excited to see God move through the youth this year and see the wonderful and amazing plans he has for them.

Thanks Josh. It’s great to have a few fresh faces around, if you see someone you don’t know, be bold go and introduce yourself and get to know who they are.

For your information:
During the 10.00am service we have a crèche which can be found attached to the foyer near the kitchen (ages 1-4).
If your children are a bit older (School years 1-6), there is the Sunday Club, located in the hall between the church building and Green meadows fields. If your child is above School year 7, then they can join in with a group during the sermon time that meets in the small lounge adjacent to the office block (again near Green meadows fields). It is really great to be able to gather and share in cooperate worship. It is also great that we are able to have different teaching groups relevant to individual ages.

P.S. The AGM is not far away now. Please put 7.00pm Thursday 19 March for the AGM in your diaries. We are looking for a couple of new

people to come on vestry. If you are interested speak to Phil or the wardens.
