Good morning and a warm welcome to all. Today we are having a combined celebration Christmas service. Everyone is warmly invited to stay after the service for Christmas cake and Christmas mince pies.

If you are visiting with as today we would love to meet you and get to know you after the service. Please make yourself known.

Well Christmas is almost here! Not many sleeps to go now… I would like to take this chance to say thank you to some people. First I would like to thank the staff team, David, Jonathan, Victoria, Angela and Eric. It has been so good to be part of a team that is firstly, all for God and secondly all for His Church. Every member of the staff team has worked hard and contributed greatly to the life of the church.

Thank you also to the Vestry. Again it is such a joy to be part of a team that works together to serve the church for the good of everyone, with joy and unity. Thank you to all the people that volunteer, there are far too many of you to name. So many people doing so many things that very often go unseen and yet without you, the church could not run like it does.

Most of all I give thanks to God, for all that God has been doing in the life of the Church and in your lives. We are a community that has Jesus at the centre of all we are and do, and all our work is done for his glory.
