Good morning and a warm welcome to all!

Next Saturday is the church fair, I hope as many of you that can have signed up to help on the day. This is our big fundraiser for the year and the more people we can have helping the easier it will be on everyone. The church fair is not all hard work though. It is a lot of fun and a great time for the wider church to come together, for the people from the different services to work together and get to know each other. Please pray for a fine day with lots of sunshine and lots of people to come in and enjoy the fair.

There are eight youth at spring camp this weekend. Please keep these young people in your prayers. Camps are a great time in young people lives and a lot of ‘first time commitments’ to Christ are made at camps. Talking about camps we are having a church camp early next year. We have booked Bethany Park at Kaiteriteri and managed to get a couple of world class speakers. Now all we need is YOU. If you can’t make it to the whole weekend then you can come for the Saturday or the Sunday.

I would love as many of you that can to come over for the Sunday morning, we will be having communion with Bishop Richard. So, calling all families young and old to camp 2014. Pick up a flyer and register today – first in the first served!

Thanks to all the people that have offered to make food for the boys and girls group on Monday and Tuesday nights. Please keep on praying for this work, for Jonathan and the other social workers, as they invest in the young people of Stoke.

Bishop Richard and Andrew Burgess are in Nairobi for the Global African Future Conference (GAFCON) which runs from 21 October to 26 October. Please keep them in your prayers for safety and good health.

Have a great week and God bless.

Philip
