Good morning and a very warm welcome to all.

This Thursday we have our AGM starting at 7.00pm. The AGM is an opportunity for us as a church to look back on the past year, give thanks for all that God has done and to look forward at the year ahead in anticipation of what God is going to do. There will be a light supper at the conclusion of the AGM. All are welcome to attend.

Last night we had the Banquet in the Garden. This is a yearly event, and this year all the money raised goes Hannah-Hope. Well done to all that run this event, your efforts will make a big difference in the lives of those in need. If you would like to make a donation to Hannah-Hope here is some information about them.

Ken and Alice Winter, parishioners at St Barnabas run the not-for-profit Hannah-Hope And Nurture which partners with Open Home Foundation International and ‘Pro Christo et Ecclesia’ (C.E. Union) Romania, providing funding, facilitating training and support to deal with the ongoing abandonment of children in Romania. Hannah-Hope And Nurture supports a social worker to work in the area of child abandonment prevention in Targu Mures, Romania.

Ken and Alice’s vision is to support and empower impoverished, vulnerable families to enable to look after their children in a way that ensures the children are safe, loved, belong and are an integral part of both their family and community. Just $800 a month pays for a child support worker in Romania.

Easter is coming… The service times are listed in this pew sheet, in the foyer and on the website. Please take note that from Easter the second Sunday service will be starting at 10.00am. It would be encouraging if 9.45 regulars could all make a effort to come a bit earlier and meet with the those who attend the 8.30am service.

Remember the prayer meeting Tuesday morning at 7.00am.

Have a great week
Philip
