Good morning and a very warm welcome to all.

Firstly a great big thank you to all the people that come together and helped run the church fair yesterday. From the organizing team to the people that had grown plants, the people that made food, run a stall,  set up, packed up, to everyone thank you. It is only through your time and commitment that we can put on this fundraiser and community event. I had people from the community ringing me three week ago asking when the church fair was on. Not only is the fair a great community event it is always a good thing for the church community to come together and enjoy each other’s company. With a result of over $8000 we can be proud of our efforts. Well done everyone!

This morning we are privileged to have Grant Norsworthy ministering to us. He is an internationally respected musician and speaker with a passion for worship — beyond music.

Pure and perfect worship in the sight of God is to care for orphans and widows and to remain uncorrupted by the world.

James 1:27

Grant will bring a challenge to us on the theme of  ‘Worship and the Least of These’.

I am off to the New Wine Leaders Conference this week in Wellington for three days. Have you given any thought to going on one of the New Wine summer camps early next year?

Camps are held in Matakana, Waikanae and Kaiapoi. They are 5 day festivals and there will be fantastic teaching with international and local speakers, worship that takes yous deeper into the presence of God and ministry that sees you meeting Jesus. There are jam sessions for muso’s, late night artists, bouncy castles, free giveaways, story time for kids, maybe even drive-in movies!  Brochures are in the foyer.

I heard that the youth had a great Spring Camp last weekend, I think there were 4 or 5 of our youth there this year, and that they only lost the coveted Bishops Log by one point. Well done team, next year will be your year.

Have a great week

Yours in Christ
